2. Data, purposes, legal bases and retention
Website delivery and security
The hosting/CDN provider receives technical data needed to deliver the site, including IP address, requested URL, date, time and browser information. Processing serves delivery, availability and prevention of abuse (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Technical log retention follows the provider's applicable service settings; it is separate from browser storage listed below. This notice does not claim that hosting is anonymous.
Information and quotation requests
The forms use first name, last name, email address and your message solely to send your request by email to SAGI (info@sagicompressori.com), through the site's server on the SiteGround hosting platform. The site does not store the fields in a database. To limit abuse, the server keeps a pseudonymised (hashed) record of the IP address for at most one hour; ordinary server logs are kept by the hosting provider for technical and security purposes. The privacy checkbox acknowledges this notice; it is not marketing consent.
When SAGI receives a request, it uses the information to reply and handle requested pre-contractual steps (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR); other enquiries are handled on the legitimate interest in answering correspondence (Article 6(1)(f)). Data is kept while the enquiry and any follow-up remain open. After closure it is retained only where needed for a resulting contract, legal obligations or a specific dispute, for the applicable obligation or limitation period. A request does not subscribe you to marketing.

3. Recipients, providers and transfers
Only authorised SAGI staff and technical or professional providers involved in the relevant service may handle the data. Inochi provides website development and maintenance. This site is hosted on the SiteGround platform. Email sent by you is handled by the email providers involved. The site does not sell contact data, install advertising pixels or send form fields to analytics, social networks or AI services.
The hosting provider's processing terms and safeguards are described in its Data Processing Agreement and legal terms. The controller can provide information on the applicable processor arrangements, subprocessors, processing locations and safeguards for any transfers outside the EEA. This notice does not assert that every provider processes data exclusively in the EU.
4. External links and local media
Google Maps, WhatsApp and LinkedIn are ordinary links, not embedded widgets. They receive no automatic request from this page. Following a link opens the service you chose, under its own privacy notice; your browser or application will then communicate with that service. External links do not send the content of contact forms. Videos, images, fonts and interface scripts are served from this site's origin without contacting their creators or a remote media platform.
5. Your rights
Contact the controller to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability where applicable, or to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may withdraw consent where a processing activity relies on it, without affecting earlier lawful processing. Requests normally receive a reply within one month, subject to the GDPR's extensions. You may complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority or another competent authority. This site performs no automated decisions or profiling.
